Mail Art Moment.

With baby Lily sleeping tons and my other two kids under the weather, I've had some free time to make some mail art.  I made Post Cards using an old Doll book and a fashion magazine- some rubber stamps and packing tape transfers (oh...and my heavy ol' pinking shears).

I just LOVE making tape transfers.... a lot!  I'm always amazed at how EASY it is.

This one goes out to KSP... my first in the series.

My muse for this one is Lovely Karen Isaacson.  The colors made me think of you.  PLUS- I spent my morning coffee reading almost all of your past blog posts (you're so frickin' talented and funny AND energized (wish I could brew some of what YOU got...LOL!)).

This awesome stamp came to me in the mail today.  I SOOOO need a sheet of these for my Post Cards....IRONIC!
Gotta go- Lucy needs me to help her with dress-up.  Mom to the rescue!!

My baby sleeps- while I type.  Never knew that typed white noise was so effective.  YES- I'm able to play in the mail.

Found these adorable baby outfits for Lily- had no idea what I had purchased until I got home.  I just saw "cute", "little", and "pink", so I paid the lady.

Both outfits had little SNAILS on them.  REALLY?  I had a good laugh (wish there were little mail boxes on them too).

GREAT mail days for me while I've been layin' low at home with the newborn.  I Thank you all for the fun postal awesomeness! 

My Dear Kick asS pen-Pal spoiled me with fun-to-read mail.  Love that lady and her amazing sense of humor.

SUNDAY FUNNY!

It's been a GREAT day!

The day for ME started with a nice cup of coffee, a bowl of cheerios with sliced banana, and then down to the nail lady for a KILLER pedicure (Look at my cute pink toes...oh boy).  I made a trip to Target for some last minute baby things (and gel pens..LOL!), and when I got home?...... It  was a GOOD MAIL DAY!

The envelopes are super pretty!  And the letters were wonderful to read.  I even got 2 postcrossing

PCs- one from The Netherlands and one from Malaysia (great stamps).

KSP spoiled me rotten..................LOVE HER!

Cute kid books for my little ones, a F---in' hilarious night time book for the Baby coming (Yes- the author of this book drops the 'F' bomb a few times..LOL!), cute typed notes, and on and on and on. I even got some chocolate chip cookie mix (will be making those tonight...yum).

Outgoing Mail.

Making envelopes is so flippin' FUN!  In the "Here comes Spring" envie, I added 2 more little decorated envelopes to go along with the letter..... I used the same children's book for all three.  AND... I've been practicing on my typewriter (I really stink).  So for those of you who get a typed letter from me- SORRY ABOUT ALL OF THOSE TYPOS.
